Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are used to restore volume and to smooth out deep static lines and wrinkles. They are used for facial aesthetic treatments and are injected into the skin. They are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, contour and create volume, and to revitalise the skin.

Fillers can also be used to define the shape of certain facial features. It also draws in water to create a plumping effect.

Dermal fillers can contour, highlight and rejuvenate facial shapes and enhance features.

For individuals that do not wish to have surgical procedures, injectable skin filler may offer significant results using minimally invasive techniques.

What is dermal filler?

Dermal fillers are soft injectable gels consisting of stabilised hyaluronic acid (HA), a biodegradable substance naturally found in the body. HA is a component of the skin that keeps it hydrated and gives it elasticity and volume.

How long will the results last?

Dermal fillers are not permanent, can last from 6-18 months depending on a number of factors such as the area treated, the particular filler used and your own metabolism which will vary between individuals.

Is treatment painful?

At the clinic we use only premium products which contains lidocaine ( a local anaesthetic) to minimise discomfort. We also use a numbing cream and only start the treatment once you feel completely numb.

Will I look unnatural?

We only work with the highest quality dermal fillers, all of which blend with the tissue under the skin creating a soft natural result that does not affect facial expression.

How do I know if fillers are right for me?

We assess the face artistically and only recommend treatments that are guaranteed to harmonise facial features, increase facial symmetry and add balance.

You will have an in-depth consultation prior to treatment and together we can decide on a treatment plan.
